Still Life Photography<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still Life Photography is an expression of art. Inanimate objects arranged or in natural form so as to capture light, color, and textures. This genre predates photography as it was a popular form of art prior to the invention of the camera. Artist would reflect still life on canvas and other media. Still life remains among the most popular photography genres and will endure as photographer’s choice of art expression. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Composing a photo into an expression of art.<\/h2><\/div>

One of my favorite genres of photography is still life. Sometimes I arrange the scene before taking the photo. Most often, I arrange the camera to capture nature’s beauty. The color, light, and textures of nature design. Nature’s patterns, often overlooked, reveal such grand design which is repeated from the smallest of scale to massive sizes of stars and galaxies. This gallery represents a small percentage of my photo library and purchase of prints may be arranged. We can also come to you and capture the still life photographs of your choice. We can provide the pictures in album or print sizes up to 16 inches by 20 inches (or larger). <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The camera\u2019s firmware and specialized software on the personal computer are fully capable of doing anything previously done in the photo lab. Essentially, the photo lab is in the camera and the personal computer. Derek takes a personal approach with each customer\u2019s project. Drawing on years of business and photography experience, he organizes each unique project into a set of work items and customer deliverables. Customer satisfaction is priority #1.
